T- Shaped Literacy - Matariki

For our Matariki T-Shaped Literacy we have been learning about Matariki and language features.  We also got to retell a Matariki story.  Here is my work.  

It was easy to act the puppet.

Outdoor class movie

 On outdoor classroom day we went out the back to make movies about hut making.  

We learned about using different shots like Establishing, Wide, Medium, Close-up

It was easy to get the right place to put the Ipad.

It was hard to make the right shots and take short videos.

I liked it because it was like writing a story.

Digaital Art

 This term we have been learning some new techniques for creating digital art pieces. Here is my artwork from this term.  I learnt how to create something with texture.

I like my kiwi texture because it was my creation.

I like my pop art because they are native birds.

Hut Movie Making

In Team Awa we had an outdoor learning day. We got to go outside and make huts around the back. We were learning about how movie making is like writing a story and that we needed to take different types of movie shots. Here is some examples of what I learned.
